I've been visiting my family in New Hampshire. I had planned to post some kind of "no blog this week, I'm on vacation", but then I left the blog source at home. As a token of apology, here's a photo of my aunt and uncle's enormous fluffy cat:
It was a nice trip. I had hoped to bring a camera to take some photos up in the White Mountains, but the weather wasn't conducive to that and I ended up leaving all that stuff at home. And then I got food poisoning. Which is why I don't really have anything for this week's post either.
Also, my cousin somehow managed to get ahold of a handwritten copy of Henry Cowell's 1949 piano piece Madman's Wisp (HC 734). I'm not sure exactly how or what the provenance of this copy is, and I don't think she does either. I'm probably going to try and figure out more about the story there especially since she wants me to do a digital transcription of it.
