November Kelly: No shit leaves the shop, you know.
Liam McAnderson: No shit leaves the shop, exactly. Except for all the shit that has left the shop. Don't worry about that one, though.

So this post was gonna be about something else. I was intending to write up an essay about how I wasn't impressed with the media coverage around Jacob Coxon's crash-out resignation from Anthropic last Tuesday, but I wasn't able to put the ideas together in a way I was happy with and I think other people are doing it better than I did anyways. I figure nobody is really coming to this blog for lukewarm media analysis anyways, so that's one that I didn't want to go out unless it was perfect.

Unfortunately, I only gave up on trying to make it work around 13:30 PDT on Friday, so you're getting another random photo off my phone:

I'm a big fan of this one. I got a new phone recently -- things have been going well at the day job -- and it's got a much better camera system that I'm already noticing I'm using more. Still doesn't compare to a dedicated camera, but I can see a nice scene like this and not be completely disappointed in what I can do with it using just the phone, so that's an improvement.

I should have something more planned-out for next week; not entirely sure what yet, but it'll be one of at least three different projects I know I'm going to tackle. Perhaps someday I'll even manage to get that essay to a place I'm happy with.
